In your /config/networks network file, do you have:

Set defserv ...........: irc.name.com

by any chance?

How do I remove it, does it required an admin, (network)? Does it affect the irc.name.com server??

The irc server admin will have to make the change..ie, owner of the ircd.. by editing the ircd network file. Looks like it should probably read:

Set defserv .........: s.net
No matter where ya go...there ya are!

There are no "commands" to edit it..you have to directly edit the file with a shell text editor. Just being an admin doesn't necessarily give you access, you need to be the "owner".

/stats w gives you userload statistics as it states quite clearly in the output.

irc.name.com is what you entered during ./configure when asked what domain where to be considered local to your server. It also specifies that it only had an impact on /stats w

Neither /stats w or this feature can be disabled. Leaving a bogus local domain wont do anything apart from NOT give you userload stats for that domain since its bogus.
