Problems with Linking.

Hi there,

i have 3 Servers. If i type /map on Server one i get:

* de1.ip-minds.de            (Users:   18)  (100%)
* End of /MAP

if i type it on Server two, i get:

* de2.ip-minds.de            (Users:   5)  (100%)
* End of /MAP

if i type it on Server three, i get:

* irc.ip-minds.de          (Users:    2)  (100%)
* End of /MAP

So.. if i do the *SAME* oper'ed i get:

* irc.ip-minds.de          (Users:    2)  (100%)
* |-de2.ip-minds.de        (Users:    0)  ( 0%)
* |-services.ip-minds.de   (Users:    0)  ( 0%)
* `-de1.ip-minds.de        (Users:    0)  ( 0%)

if i do the *SAME* oper'ed on another Server, i can see the users only from the Server
example:

* de2.ip-minds.de            (Users:    5)  (100%)
* `-irc.ip-minds.de          (Users:    0)  ( 0%)
*   |-services.ip-minds.de   (Users:    0)  ( 0%)
*   `-de1.ip-minds.de        (Users:    0)  ( 0%)
* End of /MAP

Am I so stupid? ;-)

I want irc.ip-minds.de as RR, for Bots and Linking Servers (Hub)
de1 and de2 as User server de1 and de2 and the services are linked to irc.ip-minds.de

I have in every ircd a U line, for the services, and an H line for the hub (irc.ip...) i tried it with h and u lines for every server in every ircd, but it's the same problem...

Anybody an Idea what there's going wrong?

You have a U:Line for every server you are linked to (or only irc.ip-minds.de), and UltimateIRCd hides U:Lined servers in /map and /links for security reasons. Removing the U:Lines for servers other than your services server should fix this problem.

Also, don't forget to use /rehash after you've made any changes to the ircd.conf.

well, i did it as u said, same problem, isn't working.

Changes to C/N/L/H/U lines all requires the servers to be relinked before they take effect. A simple rehash will load the changes, but they will not be applied to already exsisting links.
