Topic: Port 8067 does not work

Hello,

I have discovered that port 8067 don't work on UltimateIRCd 2.8.8 and 2.8.9.

I just say this, because it works on all other ircd's but not on the 2 mentioned above. Have even checked with Anope.org in their forum and was told this is an IRCd issue.

Well, I can't say why it is that way since I just referred to the answers I got when asked on Anope, since I thought it was a services issue.

Can one of the developers please fix the problems on Ultimate 2.8.8 and 2.8.9. It seems they both has big problems, and with 6 developers, it should maybe be possible for one of them to do a try to fix it?

The only active developer is me. (although im not very active myself due to other projects and real life)
Radiant and Againaway who are the other developers have either moved on or are too busy right now.

I cannot however reproduce your port issue. I can connect just fine on port 8067 and i cannot find anything in the code which would cause any problems with that specific port either.

As for the big problems, i cannot remember having heard of them, so i can't really comment. Regardless, we, the developers have been running 3.0 for litherally years now, and since 3.0 release, any development aside from bugfixes and security fixes for the 2.8 branch seized.
