+r bug?
« on: November 08, 2005, 11:32:32 pm »
//echo -a Usermodes: $usermode
Usermodes: +ixrhoWaPZ
/nick dregan29
(a grouped nick to "yoda")

[01:05pm] * yoda sets mode: -r
[01:05pm] yoda is now known as dregan29

/nick yoda
/ns identify PASSWORD

[01:07pm] -NickServ- You are already identified.

//echo -a Usermodes: $usermode
Usermodes: +ixhoWaPZ

You lose +r and can't get it back without reconnecting to the net.
Shows as identified, but can't join +R channels.

Using UltimateIRCd3.0.0.rc3 with Anope-1.7.12

No modules loaded.

Ulines are all same and correct.

With the exception of /sajoin, all other mode changes/funtions seem to work. If/As I find other issues I will post them to this same thread.

I will also post this on Anope's forum.

That's an old version of the IRCd.  You should upgrade.

I don't have this problem with using UltimateIRCd3.0.1 with Anope-1.7.12.

[7:14:37am] * BarkerJr sets mode: -r
[7:14:37am] * Your nick is now BarkJr
[7:14:38am] * BarkJr sets mode: +r
[7:14:41am] * BarkJr sets mode: -r
[7:14:41am] * Your nick is now BarkerJr
[7:14:41am] * BarkerJr sets mode: +r

This is with NSNickTracking enabled in Anope.

I didnt notice the fact that he was running rc3, however we discussed this on IRC a bit and it seems the culprit may be Time desynchs.
