Couple of problems - help please

(1/1)

ljesh:
Hello everyone, I liked alot the UltimateIRCD so I decided to use it
on my server. I noticed couple of problems so I decided I to ask here
for help please.

1. What flag should I set for network administrator or for irc
operator so they would be able to see who is connecting to my server
at that moment?

2. How do I remove this:
"abcdfghikmnoprswxzABCFGMNOPRSTWXZ befhiklmnoprstvxAIKLORS
NOQUIT TOKEN SAFELIST SILENCE KNOCK IRCOPS WATCH=128 MODES=6
MAXCHANNELS=20 MAXBANS=60 MAXEXEMPTS=60 NICKLEN=30 TOPICLEN=307
CHANTYPES=#+ CHANMODES=be,fkL,l,imnpstxAIKOS PREFIX=(ohv)@%+
NETWORK=My network"
from showing up, or at least modify it?

I have 2.08.8 version. I hope you can help me.
Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.
Greetings.

To answer your first question. For Network-Admin you'll need N flag, and for IRC-Admin you'll need I flag. All the flags are listed with explanations in your ircd.conf.

Depending on how you have set up the operhosts eg: @IRC-Admin.your.server.net. I'll give you some examples below:

Services-Oper.irc.your.net <=== a flag needed
Technical-Admin.irc.your.net <=== T flag needed
Server-Admin.irc.your.net <=== S flag or A flag needed
IRC-Admin.irc.your.net <=== I flag needed
Network-Admin.irc.your.net <=== N flag needed

To your other question. Why would you remove all you listed above? I think that is standard for UltimateIRCd, and not possible to remove, but not absolutely sure about that.

ShadowMaster:
Aside from NETWORK, you will be causing your clients problems if you remove this output as it tells the client how to properly interact with the server.
NETWORK is set in your network settings file. Please see ircd.ini and the default network template to change it.
