problem connecting when max global user reaches 60

Closing Link: 0.0.0.0 (Ping timeout: 35 seconds)

Software caused connection abort

That's the error i get when trying to connect. It seems i can connect fine when global users < 60. I tried to increase maxclients to 1000 (using /quote set max 1000 & /raw set max 1000) but it doesnt seem to work either. My Y:line and I:line r as follow:

Y:1:90:0:1000:100000

I:*@*::*@*::1

btw im using Ultimate3.0.1-Win32. Thanks in advance

i got the same problems, but mine, the server stop allowing additional user to log in after it reach 57 clients. mine use 3.0.2 win32 pre compiled.

Many Windows users have a router infront of the computer, and are using NAT to forward to the internal IP. Many routers have a limited amount of possible open sessions (64, 128, 254). You always use some yourself, www, irc, msn, icq, etc...

So it might be interesting to know if you are using a router or not.

negative, iam running Windows 2003 SP1 Enterprise Edition. internet using PPPoE Dialler (Windows) line 1024/384 Kbps. No NAT/VPN Role deplo:badword:.
