Suggestion regarding Server-Notice
« on: May 26, 2005, 12:56:02 pm »
Hello,

I see when I logon as Server-Admin the following message are sent as a Server-Notice:

[11:36AM] -my.server.name- *** Server-Notice -- Nick ([email protected]) is now a Server Administrator (A)[/b]

Would it be possible to also set in what Channel an oper are joining like:

[11:36AM]-my.server.name- *** Oper Nick has entered #Channelname (OWNER) or (HOST) for non admins[/b]

Suggestion regarding Server-Notice

If an oper joins a channel using /fjoin it will already show the action in an snotice.
Imo it's not a good idea to implement this by default, for privacy concerns.
If you want to code it yourself, you can easely add a check to the m_join function, you can send server notices to opers with sendto_realops().
